I come to school because I want an education.
Receiving my education allows me to better myself for a greater tomorrow. Education is something that no one can take away from me. By receiving an education I’m more likely to obtain a high paying job. I believe that in today’s world to have an education is crucial. Everyone is constantly competing in a global economy for jobs and by having an education it puts you in the run for a better job.

I go to school because I want to go to graduate with a 3.2 GPA. I have to go to school to get good grades and achieve that goal. To me it doesn’t matter if I die tomorrow because I don’t know that I just strive to achieve what I want. If something comes up like a death or I’m sick then I don’t go to school but I still make it up. I do enjoy some parts of school like seeing friends and hanging out so another reason is that.

I come to school because I want to do great things in my lifetime. To do great things you need the right building blocks also known as, the right kind of education. I have to not only pass high school to go on to College or University, but I have to get good grades to have choices of which College or University I want to attend. An education will provide me with more opportunities that otherwise would not happen if I didn’t come to school. I want to make a difference for our future.

The reason i come to school is to see my friends and meet new people. Next, I go to school is to learn more about some of my favorite subjects like math and history. Also, I go to school so I won’t be stuck at home all day doing nothing except rotting my brain with television. Another reason is I attend school is to get more intelligent so I can be more attractive. Finally, I come to school to start the day over because even though one thing happened yesterday, doesn’t mean it will happen today.

I come to school because it can make life easier. Many jobs today wont higher people if they haven’t gone through school. Most people who don’t go to college will have to live paycheck to paycheck on meager pay. This will make it so they can’t afford many luxuries in life. On the other hand if they would make it through college they could get a better paying job which might mean a little extra spending. Making life easier is definitely not a bad way to go.

I come to school because I would like to better my future. In order for me to be successful in live I have to get an education. An education for me is important because I want to open my own business and in order to do that I will need to know how. If I dont know how to open a business then how am I going to be successful. That is why I come to school.

I come to school because I want to. I want to come to school so that i can get an education, to learn the specific skills that I will need later on in life. Skills that will help me have a successful life and make something of myself. Also skills that will help me have a job that I not only like but that I can survive off of, with the skills that I learned from going to school everyday. I am not forced to go to school I go because I want to, I don’t want to be the unintelligent person on the side of the road with no goals or priorities, I want to be able to help people like that learn just like how I did by going to school.

Steven Vondra wrote @ September 2nd, 2008 at 1:40 pm

I come to school for one main reason, so I can get a better education. If I get a better education I will be able to go to college. And if I go to college then I will be able to do any job that I choose to do. I will most likely pick a job that I like and that pays well. And that is the reason that I come to school.

   Taylor N. wrote @ September 2nd, 2008 at 2:41 pm

I come to school because I want to better myself as a person. Coming to school, I can gather knowledge that I will need later in life, like beginning college, and later having a profession. I would be able to learn the essentials that I will need to be successful in life. What I mean by being successful is having a job that I love, and that pays good money, so that I can support my family. All the success that I strive for begins with coming to school, so that is why I do so

I come to school because I want to get a good education. The reason I want to get a good education is so that I can have a good life. Also, with a good education I am able to enroll into almost any collage or university. After collage I will be able to get a good job that may also have a good pay check. Other than that I had to come to school for the first day.

David Franklin wrote @ September 2nd, 2008 at 4:30 pm

The reason i come to school is beacuse of love. The thing I love is myself. Without going to school I would be dead, and you dont kill the things you love. If I did not go to school, I would be dead in two ways, figuratively and literally. I would be figuratively dead because I would have very little chance of a good future without going to school. I would also be dead literally because my parents would kill me. I come to school everyday because I love myself.

I come to school because i want to have a bright future. These days you have to have a good education to get a good job, eventually I want to have a high school diploma and at least a bachlors degree. My parents have great jobs and I want to be successful like them, I want to give my kids every thing they have given me throught my life. I do not know what I want to be yet but I know that if I stay in school and keep my studies up I will have a long and bring future ahead of me. That is why I go to school.

Marcos Reyes wrote @ September 2nd, 2008 at 6:31 pm

I come to school because Mr. Kreinbring needs kids to teach in order to get paid. I also come to school for the fact that I have a fear that my mother will not let me do things I want to do. I come for the fun with my friends. I come to school to get an education, and to get this, I must go and sit through classes and listen to old people with grey hair talk about certain subjects.I need the education because the world is stupid and you need to be smart to be good looking and you can’t get anywhere in life without one because that’s the way the cookie crumbles. Above all, I come to school because I have nothing better to do.

   kreinbring wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 5:34 am

Many of you seem to want this “education” thing or, see it as a means to some other end. What is that end result, a good job or, a richer more fulfilling life?

I come to school because I’ve got nothing else better to do and it gives me opportunites. You can’t join the Avondale Theater Company unless you go to school and commit to it for several hours a day. You also can’t be in the chior unless you get up and try out and hope for the best. You can’t try out for sports unless you stay in school and get the grades reqiured. But most important of all. I go to school so I can go towards my future.

I come to school to get an education; I do this because I want a good job and money when I am older. The other reason is so I can some day support my family. By going to school and getting a degree I am able to open my horizons to all the jobs I could potentially have in the future. One of my main goals in life is to go to college and get a good job that I don’t mind going to every day. That is the main reason I come to school every day of the week.

Joseph Suriano wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 10:57 am

I come to school for some reasons that are rather selfish and gredy. First, I want to sound smarter than everyone around me to boost my self-esteem. Then, I also come to school so that colleges will accept me, leading to a higher education. This in turn leads to a better job and a good position to earn a decent amount of money with a clean conscience. So, I go to school to set myself up for hard work till I’m too old to care.

Valeri Turner wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 11:21 am

I come to school because I want to do the best in life. School helps you get a good education. Your education level is important when you want a good career. So I want to graduate on time and go to a good college. oh yeah i almost forgot
Mr. Kreinbring is the most funniest teacher ever, but thats who’s going to help me at getting that good education thing!

I agree with David. I love myself and if i didn’t come to school my parents would kill me. My dad has flipped out before because my grade dropped a little. I can’t imagine what he would do if i were to skip school. I would definitely rather go to school than get destroyed by my parents.

Jason Tester wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 1:55 pm

I come to school to get an education so I can go far in life. Such as getting a great job which leads to a good future. If you go to school your family will appreciate it and so will you in the long run. Your family will look up to you, instead of looking down at you when you can not find a job. I also come to school to meet and see new friends. If you don’t go to school you would not have any friends that you would have today. No, matter how much you hate school you should still go. Would you rather have no friends, no job, a family that looks down on you, and no future? No, so this is why I go to school. If you go to school you will have way more opportunities in life. If you don’t go to school your future will be nothing that you want it to be.

I would have to agree Taylor M. Seeing friends, getting an education, and going to school instead of “rotting our brains out television” are few of many reasons why kids go to school. I know that those are a few of the reason why I attend school everyday.

I agree with Sha’Courtney. She makes a great point when she talks about how hard it is competing for jobs in the global economy. With an education you can achieve more and have a better job then someone with a lesser education. These skills and “smarts” if you will are especially important in Michigan with our terrible economy. Then again someone going to have to be the garbage man. I still agree with Sha’Courtney though.

Marcos Reyes wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 2:49 pm

In response to Taylor N.

I disagree with about all of your statement. First of all, school does not better you as a person, it probably makes you worse considering the fact that a lot of kids are changed due to peer pressure. Many kids do stupid things. In my case and other cases, people don’t really care about the rest of the world, but school still does nothing to better you as a person. Also, can you honestly say in (depending what math you’re in) that you learned many useful things that will really help in life? Unless of course you want to become a mathematician and study those kinds of hard mathematics. Most people that go to Avondale do not want to become one of those, for all I know. Sorry, but I completely disagree with your statement.

Also, to most people. You all have the same general answer (excluding you David F). Most people give the answer “I want a better future” or “I want to get a good job”. Come on people, honestly, get creative.

I come to school because I want to do well in life once I am on my own. I don’t go because my parents make me or because that’s what everyone else is doing. I want to work hard in school so I can get a good job and when I someday have a family, be able to provide for them. If I go to school and do well, I can go to college. If I do well in college I could get a good job. So, the way I see it, it all bases off of school. That is why I go to school each day.

   Darian Burrell-Clay wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 2:59 pm

I come to school because I need to get an education. I would like to have an education because it would open many doors in my future. Going to high school to get an education is required for me to go to college, if I want to make something of myself I need to go to school. I have high goals and big dreams and to achieve those I need to go to school. The reason I go to school is so my future is headed some were. I also go to school because I enjoy the enviroment of Avondale High School. The biggest reason why I come to school is because, to make it some were in life I need an education.

   Darian Burrell-Clay wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 3:09 pm

If I was asked who I would agree with it would have to be Samantha B. I feel that her point about being like her parents and having a good job was a great one. I also agree with her when she had said she wants to be able to provide for her family, and going to school gives her that chance. I also agree with Taylor N. because she said going to school can better herself, I feel like going to school does that. I felt that alot of people who left a comment made good points, but those were the two I could connect with.

Jeremy Wood wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 3:10 pm

I strongly agree with Victoria. We all go to school to aquire certian skills towards the futures in which we all want to have once we age. Unless we win the lottery, or marry into very wealthy families, were all going to have to work. So why dont we just go to school, get the skills we need for the future and do our jobs the right way instead of just barely making it?

Austin Langenstein wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 3:17 pm

I come to school because I want to find out who I am. I want to know what I am good at so that I can find a job that uses my skills. I come to school because I want to learn. I go to school so that one day my kids can have nice things. I come to school because I want to find out new ways to do things.

Molly White wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 3:27 pm

I come to school because I want to be able to provide for my family in the future. To be able to do that I have to have a good job and an education, and I have to go to school for that. I also come to school because I like coming to school. It is exciting learning new things. I also come to see my friends. And there is always something new, something else to learn. You can never know enough.

Austin Langenstein wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 3:30 pm

I disagree with all of the people that say geting an education will make you life better. An education in itself is not enough for a job. If you are the smartest person in the world and you dont have the skills it takes to do a certain job. I also disagree with Marcos’es post about how he says school doesnt better you as a person if anything it makes you worse. I do not beleive that this is true for the fact that if you stay focused on your goal and don’t alow yourself to get into situations that are not good ones you wont have any issues.

David Franklin wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 3:36 pm

I agree with Taylor M. I agree with her in the way that I come to school everyday to see my friends and I know I would never make it through the year without them. I also disagree with her though because I know that if I did not have school 5 days a week I would not rot my brain out at home, I know that if I did not have school to teach me things I don’t need to know I would be at home learning about more important things that would help myself and the world in the future rather than knowing things like what a shape with 7 sides is called.

Molly White wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 3:37 pm

I would have to disagree with Marcos. The world is actually not stupid at all. Some of the people in the world might be stupid but the world? no.. its not. Look how far man kind has come from what it use to be. Computers, cars, television, and music devices. Sorry but no that is NOT the way the “cookie crumbles.” And the whole “your good looking if your smart” is only sweet when Mr. Kreinbring says it and that IS the way the cookie crumbles.

   Thorpe wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 3:51 pm

I go to school because my parents want me to go, I respect what they have to say so I do. Also I want to be able to get a good job when it comes to that point, most job you need to get through high school so. I’m also interested in learning things in school, not just the things I’m interested in but things I need, like math. I go most of the time though because it’s something to do. Sitting at home all day would be boring. I would also, at the end of high school, get into a good collage for art or something. So, I’d like to keep going for that reason.

   KeviN Cardenas-Valera wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 4:20 pm

I come to school because I seek for a better me. I learn something new everyday that I didn’t know before, when I come to school. Coming to school also gets me out of trouble. I rather be in school than any other place. School is a great place. I enjoy coming to school.

Steven Vondra wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 4:29 pm

I agree with David Franklin. I agree because my parents would both kill me if I dropped out of school. And the cops would get involved and mess up my life by either throwing me into jail or my parents or even both. One day I stayed home from school and then for the next few weeks I had to stay in for recess to make up the seven hours that I missed.

Marcos Reyes wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 4:40 pm

David, once again I completely agree with your statement. School basically teaches you useless things that really aren’t needed in life. But seriously, the whole “I want a better future” concept. GET CREATIVE

max metzger wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 4:46 pm

max metzger wrote @ September 3rd, 2008 at 4:59 pm

I come to school because I want to be able to live a comfortable life. School is also where I see most of my friends wich is a good thing. I also come to school because I want to study science and math so I can become a vetrinarian. I feel that school builds character it makes you a stronger, smarter, better person. The last reason i come to school is because I enjoy learning new things from every subject.

Its an oppertunity to choose if you want to go down the right road in life or the wrong way. Ok, to Marcos’ ‘I go to school because’ spiel and every other comment so far, I understand and agree with the fact that you do need to be beautiful or smart to get everything handed to you in this world, but I don’t believe you need that to do anything in life. When I’m in school I try to do my best so I can try and have a good future (which evidently isn’t uncommon here) but I’m not the best student, but you know, I’m still doing ‘good’ in life. I have a job, make money, live in a decent home, not because I’m smart, not because I’m a ‘beautiful’ person, but because I work hard in this world where it counts. What you said isn’t much different from everyone else. You want to get a good education to do well in life because that’s evidently what you need to get by. So criticizing people from all wanting a good life, when you want the same probably isn’t the best thing.

I agree with Sha’Courtney having a education is very important, because a lot of US jobs are going over seas for less money. Without education its also very hard to get a good paying job some high paying jobs do require you to have a certain level of education.

The more education you have, the farther you can go in life and the better college you can attend. Attending college will help you shape the career for you. The main thing that drives me to come to school is the opportunity to learn different things and to excel in sports. I understand that to go to college I need good grades.

I come to school because I want to have a future. Having a future is very important to me because if I don’t, I will not be successful. Being succsessful means having a well paying job and being happy with life. Also if I don’t come to school, my mom would not be to happy and she would probably ground me and i would not be able to do anyhitng and i would be miserable. So that is basically why I come to school.

Sha’Courtney I fully agree with you. I also believe that education allows you to better yourself for the future. We both think similar when the “why do I come to school?” is asked. I agree that we are competing in a global economy. I believe that whatever you want to be you can be with education, whether it’s a garbage man or a lawyer.

I don’t want me and Nehemaih to have to struggle through in life, and have him think why didn’t my mom raise me in a better enviroment or why didin’t she suceed in the past so i can have a better future. When you do better now you should be successful no matter what.

I completly agree where Steven Vondra is going with his statement. You do need education to get high ranking jobs. They won’t even hire you unless you have at least a highschool diploma. So, if you get an education, you will have more opportunities for a job. I go to school for opportunity. But I can’t get any chances at the future unless I have a education first.

taylor bass wrote @ September 4th, 2008 at 9:05 am

I agree with Sha’courtney when she said it is ‘hard it is competing for jobs in the global economy’. It’s sad when you see homes getting forclosed on and people struggling for a better tommorow

Kyle Reinhart wrote @ September 4th, 2008 at 9:56 am

I come to school because it is a good environment for me to learn in. I want to have a 3.8 GPA when I graduate so I can get a scholarship to college. By coming to school everyday I’m able to learn more and get closer to my goal of college. The second reason I come to school besides my education is that it’s a good place to see friends. School is about eight solid hours of your day that you can see people. If you never see people at home you want to go to school.

Kyle Reinhart wrote @ September 4th, 2008 at 10:10 am

I agree with Steven Vondra

Steven has the right idea he wants to use school as a tool to better his life. He wants to do well in school every day to be able to go to college. He is going to go to college and get the education that will help him to continue the career he wants. If Steven follows his plan he will have a good life.

I am going to have to agree with David Franklin. It may not be very creative but it’s a fact of life-good education leads to good job. If you decide one day to not attend school anymore and you have no life skills yet (a side-effect of public education) the best you’ll do is cashier at Walmart. If you stay the course and complete highschool you might pick up some skills that will allow you to get promoted from cashier to manager, leading to more money and less police intervention.

I Come to school because I want an education. i want an education because it will help me get a better job for my tomorrow. Also with an education I can understand what else is going on in the world such as news. Like I read in some of the other students blog comments I agree that by going to school you become a better person. It helps you become a better person because you get a chance to become nice with everyone and I say that being nice is part of being a better person, and like most of the people in the above comments, I am not going to say i am going to school for an education for better job to help my family in the long run, I am doing this for ME!

I would definitely have to agree with Nick R. I also come to school to get the best education there can possibly be. High education means high paying jobs in the future. Great jobs look for smart people.

Jason Tester wrote @ September 4th, 2008 at 11:52 am

I would have to agree with Sha’courtney Thomas. She is 100 percent right about how going to school will help you in the long run. I also believe that know one an take school away from you either. Her comment was very well writen too. Great job.

All I am saying, Shannon, is that the people could get a little more creative, I didn’t say exactly “I want a better future”. But I am still a hypocrite because I do want a good life, I’d prefer not to have a job though. Sadly i nee done of those to make money, which is needed to buy food and other needs. So, evidentially I don’t have much of a choice in this matter. I will have to accept it as me being a hypocrite.

I come to school because I am willing to learn new things. Like health I really like that class because it will help me become a nurse. I want to be able to get a good job, have a house, and a nice car. In order for that I need to go to school and get my education. I want to get all my credits and all the knowledge that I can get so I can go to colllege. I want to be someone that helps make a change in this world. Plus its really fun because you meet new people make friends and its just great. That is why I get up every morning and make the choice to come to school prepared and willing to learn.

   Taylor M wrote @ September 4th, 2008 at 12:41 pm

I would have to agree with what Max M said about being with friends and hanging out with them. Also, what he said about being able to learn new things in different subjects. I feel really good when i learn something new and actually apply it to real life situations. i feel like i actually learn something.

   Sha’Courtney wrote @ September 4th, 2008 at 12:59 pm

I agree with some peoples comments when they mentioned the reason they come to school is to acquire skills to have good jobs, and to also be able to provide for their families in the future without having to worry about making ends meet living from pay check to pay check. With their education they will always have something to fall back on.

Angeline Merditaj wrote @ September 4th, 2008 at 1:21 pm

I have to agree with Samantha Bolton because, having an education does give you a bright future. And once we start our own families we want to give our kids what our parents gave us, and you cant really do that if you dont get the right education you need. I mean you could without the education, but it would probably be harder work.

Zachary Davis wrote @ September 4th, 2008 at 3:42 pm

I go to school for an education. Without an education, you will not be successful in your future. You can easily get an education on your own but school is the best place to get one, because teachers are specialized to teach us. Going to school and getting a college diploma is the best way to get a job. The least educated you are the least likely you are to getting a job, and without a job, you will not get paid. Overall without an education, you will most likely be homeless. That is why I go to school.

Danny Simoski wrote @ September 4th, 2008 at 4:00 pm

I agree with most of the people in this blog that say they come come to school for getting a good education. I say this because if you want a good job and a good life, you will have to get a good paying job to support your family. Also if u do get a good job you might have some money left over and you can buy things that your kids might want just like when we were little and wanted things.

Zachary Davis wrote @ September 4th, 2008 at 4:30 pm

I agree with most of the the people on this blog. Almost everyone here probably said they go to school to get an education. It’s no doubt that if you don’t have a good education, you will not be successful. If you do not have an education, people will not respect you as much, and you are less likely to get a job. Bottom line, without an education, you are likely to do worse in life than someone who went to school.

Daniel Alnajjar wrote @ September 4th, 2008 at 4:34 pm

I come to school because I want to make money in the future. In this society how much money you make is typically based off how good of an education you have. Going to school is the first step in getting a better education, therfore it will enable me to earn more money in the future. More money usually leads to a better life. Better life leads to me being happier, which is what I want. Going to school usually leads to a better life and that is why I attend it every year.

Daniel Alnajjar wrote @ September 4th, 2008 at 4:43 pm

Sha’Courtney I agree with you on all the reasons you mentioned. School is really a right that is ours, and it is there to help us. School betters us for the future, which is a goal i think many people have. With outsourcing these days the only way you can get a decent job is if you have higher education than other people. Education is the key to succes and I think you proved that in your comment.

Ashleigh Sisk wrote @ September 4th, 2008 at 5:38 pm

I would have to agree with Angeline Merditaj. She said “without a good education you can’t get anywhere in life,” which is so very true. Angeline also said that “with an education you can have open options for what future you chose.” I need many open options for myself right now because I still don’t really know what path I want to choose for a career yet. I am debating between being dancer and being a teacher. Like Angeline, I want to be able to support my family, and be a good role model.

Sami Bolton wrote @ September 4th, 2008 at 5:39 pm

I agree with Angie, education is a very important now a days in the world we life. You must have an education to get a good job she is right, and education will open many doors for you in your life. Everyone dreams of growing up and having a family with a education you can get a good job and support your family. Education will help you through out your whole life and you will never forget what you learn.

   Shafer wrote @ September 5th, 2008 at 4:57 am

I go to school to receive a new lease on life. By acheiving academic goals and tearing it up in sports. Sports and choir are my ticket to college. And then hopefully I’ll make it to the NFL. I I don’t I’ll become a general surgeon

   Taylor N wrote @ September 5th, 2008 at 11:02 am

Marcos Reyes response to my response-

People that actually apply themselves in school, should be growing and developing more as a mature person. Actually, to your comment about people becoming “worse” because of school, it should actually help you with your social skills, instead of staying home, being glued to you x-box all day will not help you with your social skills. And yes, I do think that I have learned things that I will use in my everyday life. Just because I want to have a good education doesn’t mean that I want to be a brain surgeon. I’m pretty sure no one is Oh, and another thing, for all I know, a lot of people want to be successful in life, and not have to retire from working at Taco Bell after 57 years of service. The final comment that you said, we don’t need to be any more creative. For the people that go to school just because they “have” to, or because of stupid reason, and don’t want to have a successful life, you guys are going to have to think of “creative” ways to decorate the box that you’ll be living in or thinking of “creative ways of begging or money on the streets.

david chronowski wrote @ September 5th, 2008 at 11:53 am

I not only agree with Marcos on the fact you need to be learned to have a “good life” but also in the fact that it is the normal thing to do and fear keeps you there. I also believe that one of those things that keep you in school is you don’t have to grow up. So in a way people choose school because it’s a way to stall growing up and in a way stay away from the “light” the longer you spend in school the longer you don’t have to face the light. Even though you can grow up and never see the “light”. It is also the reason I think many people turn towards religion because it is easier to think you are promised the “light” than to go look for it.

Allison Cherry wrote @ September 5th, 2008 at 3:09 pm

I come to school because I want to, not because my parents make me, its because this is where my social life takes place, if I never came to school I wouldn’t have met the most incredible friends that I have today. I also want to do good in life because now a days you need a good education in order to go far in life. I want to be able to graduate so I can have a career, live in a nice house in a nice community, and eventually start a family.
I come to school because I want to better myself, I don’t want to be a failure in life, I want my children to look up to me, and most importantly I want a “career” some thing that I am good at and that I enjoy doing. I don’t want a “job” that I dried to get up for every morning, and watching the clock.
I believe that with a education you have a lot to offer and that you’ll get far in life and depending on how hard you work you’ll become very successful. Rather than a high school drop out that really cant go far in life. I like to think of it as having more advantages and more opportunities in life.

I agree with Brooke that as we go threw life and go threw the different experiences in life we do change and form our selves into better and more successful individuals.
Marcos Reyes is right as well peer pressure is not going to better our selves but like I had mentioned before you need to work hard to become successful and giving into peer pressure is not trying to hard enough.

Tyler Koontz wrote @ September 6th, 2008 at 11:45 am

I agree with Shafer. On most on how i come to school for academic goals and sports. In life i want to play soccer pro. But if it doesnt work out i like to be an engreenier or carpenter.

I agree with Amanda Yorch because she wants to have a good future too, just like me! By getting the right education in school you will get one step closer to getting a good job, a nice house, and a car. I also agree with Kyle Reinhart because Avondale is a good place to learn because you get the help you need and you are not just reading books all day. And lastly I disagree with Zachary Davis. The reason why I do is that just because you don’t go to school doesn’t mean you will be homeless. You can find jobs that don’t require an education and help pay for a place to live.

I come to school for a good education. With an education you get get place’s in life. Like a good paying job, you can also be more attractive because the smarter you are the more attractive you are. I also come to school because all my friends do and id rather be at school with friends than be at home by myself. That is why I come to school.

patrick wilson wrote @ September 7th, 2008 at 5:37 pm

I agree with sha courtney because without an education its very hard to find good paying jobs. For example my mom has a masters degree and
it is still hard for her to find a good job. Also it is better to have an education because in my opinion
I think other people will respect you more. That is why i agree with Sha Courtney.

I come to school because I want to because a teacher when I grow up. School gives me the right education to go to college and become a teacher. Another reason why I come to school is because I get to learn something new everyday. Learning new things in fun and will probably help me in the future. The last reason why I come to school is to see my friends. If I didn’t come to school I probably would not get to as many people as I do see during school.

I agree withTravis school can actually be fun when you do activities that you enjoy and adore. For me football and choir are one of the main reasons I go to school and to aquire decent marks so I am not grounded and my parents are happy.

I come to school because I want to better myself in anyway possible. School is there for students who would like to learn and benifit themselves. Alot of people come to school to help us and its our choice to take advantage of all the hardworking teachers and staff that come to school to help us. I go to school because i would like to futher my Education.

I agree with Patrick WIlson, I come to school to be educated. Also the more education u have the more places you can go in life. And yes the smarter you are the more attractive u are. And id also like to be at school with my friends rather than stuck in my house doing nothing.

School being social is one of the best reasons why i come to school. Meeting new people is one of the important things in my life. School is really boring but having an interest in the topic makes me want to come to school and learn…sometimes. Having an education is important to me, i want to be a Judge when i get older, so i must be educated through highschool and college. School takes up alot of my time but it will be worth it in the end.

Aretha Franklin is relating to Emily Walker because they both want to express their selves. They both express their selves in different ways so that people can hear them out. When Mrs. Franklin expresses herself she does it in her music. So does other artist like: Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, and many others. As you listen to these artist you will hear them sing but you probably wont feel what they are saying as you do when you listen to Aretha Franklin’s Music. The song Lyrics to Never Gonna Break My Faith :
(feat. Mary J. Blige, Boys Choir of Harlem)
(Bryan Adams, Eliot Kennedy, Andrea Remanda)

My Lord, I have read this book so many times,
But nowhere can, can I find the page that says what I experienced today has any grace

Now I know that life is meant to be hard,
That’s how I learned to appreciate my God
Though my courage may be tried,
I can tell you I wont hide,
Because the footprints show you were by my side

You can lie to a child with a smiling face,
Tell me that color aint about a race
You can cast the first stone,
You can break my bones
But you never gonna break,
You never gonna break my faith
Faith and hope aint yours to give
Truth and liberty are mine to live
Steal a crown from a king, break an angels wings
But you never gonna break ,
You never gonna break my faith

My Lord, wont you help them, help them, help them to understand
That when someone takes the life of an innocent man
Well they never really won
Because all they really done is set the soul free
Where it’s supposed to be

You can lie to a child with a smiling face,
Tell me that color aint about a race
You can cast the first stone, you can break my bones
But you never gonna break,
You never gonna break my faith
Faith and hope aint yours to give
Truth and liberty are mine to live
Steal a crown from a king, break an angels wings
But you never gonna break,
You never gonna break my faith

For those we lose before their time,
I pray their souls will find a light
I know that the day will surely come, when it will be done
You never gonna break my faith
You never gonna break my faith
